Kreuzberg kid Zoe Leela makes a night at White Trash Fast Food with trip hop beats and pieces.
Sounding a bit like Martina Topley Bird but not as tripped out, Zoe Leela is a bit of a favourite amongst the locals, mainly because of her putting together hip hop beats with lush vocals and making it work, which not everyone can do, as many a bedroom producer will attest.
The show’s at White Trash where the burgers are tasty and the PA is quite good. And there’s indie DJs on after the show which is something to think about after you’ve eaten that burger, dancing till dawn is a very good way to get skinny and much more fun than thinking about carbs.
